We are delighted that a marketing slogan dreamt up by Laura Watkins has been given the Dragon’s Den seal of approval! Theo Paphitis, one of BBC TV’s ‘Dragons’ from their Dragons Den reality show, was a judge in a national radio competition in which Laura (for Coxeys) was among the winners – she won a month’s free advertising for Coxeys, with local radio station Marcher Sound.

The competition asked how the business delivered more and our entry said: “We aim to bring city skills, provincial prices to all aspects of our client’s business needs, be it in business advice, tax affairs or in recommending a good place to eat in the area! We do this through a dedicated workforce with varied levels of skills and experiences and a warm friendly smile. This is how we
deliver more.”

Laura said “at Coxeys we are all encouraged to come up with ideas and I’m part of the practice strategy group which is looking at marketing and that’s something everyone can get involved in.”
Gill added: “We regard it as a win for the whole office. We encourage everyone in the practice to be involved so that the experience they gain from this can be brought through to business development for us and for our clients. By helping market the firm our staff are learning techniques and strategies, which they can then use to help our clients.
